Student Travel

Participation at a conference, class field trip, retreat, sporting event, or other College or Class-related travel with SLCC students

There are several items a board/club/class should know when planning to travel in or out of state. All travel must be reviewed by the Thayne Center Director and this is initiated by submitting a Student Travel Approval Form for any group or individual student traveling for College business. The form and details of the travel are reviewed for liability and safety reasons. Also, all travelers are reviewed to see if they are current students and the advisors/faculty/staff are full-time and available to travel, if sponsored by their department. The forms needed for travel are available on SLCC Groups under forms. The Travel Guidelines and the Student Travel Approval Request are open to anyone to access. The SLCC Student Travel Conduct Agreement, Waiver and Release and the SLCC Advisors/Faculty/Staff Travel Conduct Agreement, Waiver and Release are located on SLCC Groups, however, one must be logged into SLCC Groups to submit them.
