Register for Classes

Once you have completed the Admissions process, you may register for classes through MySLCC. The Registration tab allows you to Add or Drop classes, view any holds on your account, and check your registration status.

Registration Status

  • Log in to MySLCC
  • Registration
  • Add/Drop Classes

Select a Term from the pull-down menu and click Submit. When the new menu pulls up click Registration Status. Click on the drop down for Terms Open for Registration and choose the correct term. Then click Continue.

Seats may be limited, so we encourage you to register as soon as your registration timeframe opens.

  • Log in to MySLCC and select Registration.
  • Select Add/Drop Classes.
  • Select the semester (term) from the pull-down menu and click Submit. What would you like to do? page will appear. Choose Add/Drop Classes. Select the term you are interested in registering for and click Continue.
  • The Search Criteria page comes up. You can fill in any of the information you have for your course and choose the classes you want (I.E. If you want to take English 1010 put English in the Subject and 1010 in the Course Number) and then click Search.
  • Once you have chosen the section of the class you want click the Add button on the right of the class you wish to take. The class will add to the summary at the bottom of the page. If this is correct, click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.


To register for 19 credits or more, permission must be obtained from the appropriate College Department of the student's current program or from Academic Advising.
