Payment of Aid

The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships begins transferring funds to the Cashier 3-5 days before the start of each semester. Funds transfer for students who are: enrolled in eligible classes, making satisfactory academic progress, have all grades posted from previous terms, have completed all requirements and are otherwise eligible for funding.

Some private scholarship funds may be delayed until funds are received.

All students have an account where their tuition and fees are tracked. When financial aid transfers funds to this account the cashier will pay your tuition/fees using financial aid funds.

If your aid is more than your tuition/fees, the cashier uses the authorizations on your Student Information Form to determine what to do with the remaining funds. Your answers to these authorizations can be changed at any time in the Cashiers Office. You can also set up direct deposit in SLCCPay+, which is the fastest refund option. If you do not set up direct deposit, your requested funds will be by check to your current mailing address.

It takes approximately 3-5 working days to receive a check from the Cashiers Office once funds have transferred. If funds have transferred and you believe you should have received your check, contact the Cashiers Office.
