Get an introduction to practical tools and templates in a project-based approach to program management. This course is for potential-as well as experienced-project managers who want to get their projects completed on time, on budget and according to management expectations. Students are encouraged to come to class with a specific project in mind, although it is not a requirement. This is not a certification course for PMI certification; rather, this is real-life, hands-on training relevant to anyone who manages projects.

- Identify all stakeholders and how each is impacted and will be kept informed
- Create a Project Management plan
- Outline a project kick-off agenda
- Identify and gather closing documents
- Develop and practice an executive review agenda
- Design a work breakdown structure
Develop listening, writing and speaking skills in order to inspire others for business-specific outcomes. In so doing, cultivate the ability to achieve team goals. The course combines online class preparation with in-class activities where students will assess communication situations, work in teams, and practice communication scenarios. Online coursework is required
