Welcome to Academic Advising!

COVID-19 Update

Academic Advising will remain open through phone appointments and/or using the platform WebEx. If you have questions and need assistance finding your advisor or help with making an appointment, please call the Academic Advising Front Desk at Redwood 801-957-4978, Jordan 801-957-6215, or South City 801-957-3361. If there is no answer, please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you shortly or email our Staff Support Specialist at Cami.Knapp@slcc.edu.

We highly suggest students take advantage of online appointments via WebEx as you will be able to communicate directly with an advisor and get the assistance you need to navigate the remainder of the semester and help you prepare for future semesters. Please know that advisors can address many of your questions via email only if you use your Bruinmail email address. We remain committed to assist you in your Academic Advising needs.

Beginning May 18, our Taylorsville Redwood office will be open for in-person visits. College officials ask that the hour of 10-11 a.m. be reserved for "high-risk" population appointments only during the COVID-19 pandemic. The hours of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. are open by appointment only to all others. Everyone is asked to wear masks, if possible, and continue to observe the necessity for social distancing.

For appointments after 4 PM, please email your request to your program academic advisor. To locate who your advisor is please check here. Due to an increased volume of emails our advisors receive, please allow at least 3-4 business days for a response back. If you need immediate assistance, please contact our front desk at 801-957-4978.”

Important: You must attend orientation before meeting with an Academic Advisor.
